Abstract

It is critical for prospective postgraduate students to have a broad understanding of the variety, scope and depth of postgraduate programmes so as to firstly make informed choices before enrolment and secondly be able to develop a well-thought out study plan for the whole postgraduate programme. In simple terms, a postgraduate qualification is a qualification that is obtained by a candidate who has already graduated with a first degree.
