Abstract
Recently, basic experimental techniques and associated equipments and tools in a biology laboratory are changing to handle small quantities of samples more efficiently and 'Lab on a chip (LOC)' is one of the latest emerging technologies. To satisfy the diverse requirements of biologists rapidly, it is recommendable for biologists themselves to design and fabricate LOC; however, it is still difficult for them to start. This chapter is written to introduce the overview of microfabrication technology for LOC and the practical method for fabricating LOCs with three examples read more ...
